Police were called after a row broke out between parents outside the gates of a Lichfield school this morning.
The incident happened at around 9am at the front of St Joseph’s RC Primary School on Cherry Orchard.
Onlookers told LichfieldLive how two families had been involved in a heated argument.
A Staffordshire Police spokeswoman confirmed that a man and a woman were spoken to after the incident: “We received a call just after 9.15 am this morning, reporting a minor assault at St Joseph’s in Lichfield.
“Officers attended the scene and, in line with the wishes of those involved, the matter was resolved via community resolution and no further action was taken.”
